Secondary Impact Crusher
A secondary impact crusher is used after the primary crushing stage to reduce material to a smaller product size. In HSI-type machines, rotor-mounted blow bars accelerate the feed and create impact against breaker plates or impact aprons.
Applications
Secondary impact crushers are used in quarry, aggregate and crushing-screening plants where material characteristics and desired product grading are suitable for impact crushing.
Main Components
- Rotor and blow bars
- Blow-bar locks and clamps
- Impact plates / breaker plates
- Apron adjustment components
- Side liners
- Bearings and drive components
Hydraulic Adjustment and Maintenance
Depending on model, hydraulic systems can support opening, adjustment and maintenance operations. Wear-part access and crusher setting should always follow the machine-specific design.
The Turkish legacy article gives a broad 350–600 t/h range. Capacity is model- and application-dependent, so final performance must be confirmed from the current MakMach model data.
