Tertiary Crusher Features
Tertiary crushers are used after primary and secondary crushing where a finer or more specifically shaped final product is required.
Main Applications
- Fine aggregate production
- Manufactured sand
- Final-stage product shaping
- Quarry and construction-material processing
Machine Configuration
Depending on the process, tertiary duty can be performed by impact-type crushers, cone crushers or VSI crushers. Selection should be based on feed grading, hardness, abrasiveness, required product size and target capacity.
Wear and Maintenance
Rotor wear parts, impact components, liners, bearings and adjustment systems should be inspected according to the machine type and material abrasiveness.
The Turkish legacy article contains a generic “100 rpm” statement and broad performance claims. These are not carried forward as universal tertiary-crusher specifications because operating speed varies substantially by crusher type and model.
